this world is full of shit
behind the billboards spreads out decline
sometimes it gets hard to comprehend
although i've seen it a thousand times
the ugliest place
morning trains weary eyes with no smile
ready to die for the right
to be a slave from 9 to 5

it's a stupid fucking world

the world around me seems
to repeat the same mistakes
and so do i
haven't i learnt a fucking thing...

are trapped in this bullshit
with such ugly sincerity
and would it come as surprise
to see the end of our conformity?
i'd like to believe that we've learnt something
i'd like to see
