We Give, They Take

why do we do things we hate?
why do we repeat the same old game?
is it the freedom that we fear
or is it that we can't even see it?

i try to focus on this
i try to keep it in my mind
it's perfect, makes so much sense
i try to be strong this time

why do i do things i hate?
i'll save this life for myself
is it the freedom that i fear
or is it that i don't have enough strength..?
