Inspiration Is Realization

Who's advice should we all be taking?
Does anyone relate?
A single voice in so called democracy is heard by no one but myself.

They don't have to lie to us if we lie to ourselves.
Content when we turn a blind eye, like everybody else!
They don't have to care about us if we don't care.

Abandon ship we're sinking, rich and wealthy first!
When you have to reach up high to touch the bottom you're as desperate as us.

We don't have to follow them if know that it is wrong.
They don't have control of your life so stand up for yourself!
We don't have to live our lives in the dark.

Intentions of the best, we all will drown in it!
We all will live our lives as slaves to selfishness and greed.
A life that's comforting, when everybody wins,
when you don't see the face of those who starve before they're born.
