Sick and Rotten World

Reading the paper about a young girl being raped
It says she tried to convince them that she is a virgin girl
But they're deaf because of their perverted desires
Blinded by their lust they destroy all that she'd become

It's a sick and rotten world
It seems so dead to me
Filled with hate, greed and pain
How can i change the world
I am just a man
I cannot provide shelter from the storm!

But in all this utter darkness i felt
A friend of my came by and saw my pain
He told me about the greatest one
He who was and is and forever will be
