Looking over the sleepers, on the track where the train passes by.Olhando sobre os dormentes,no trilho onde passa o trem.
I meditate on the life the believer has.Eu fico a meditar, na vida que o crente tem.
The believer is like the train, it must stay on the tracks.O crente é o como o trem só nos trilhos tem que andar.
Even when the storm comes, we must not stray.Mesmo vindo a tempestade não devemos desviar.

The believer who talks a lot criticizing their brothersO crente que fala muito criticando seus irmãos
But doesn't have the right life, only lives in murmuring.Mas não tem a vida certa, só vive em murmuração
This believer is like the train, blowing its whistle without reason.Esse crente é como o trem, que apita sem razão
Making a lot of noise, but never reaching the station.Fazendo muito barulho, mas não chega na estação

The TV on, watching the soap opera, that's also it.A televisão ligada na novela isso também.
Makes the brother arrive at church only at the 'amen' time.Faz o irmão chegar na igreja só na hora do amém.
This believer seems more like the old and weak trainEsse crente mais parece como o velho e fraco trem
When it reaches the hill, it lacks the strength to climb.Quando chega na ladeira quer subir força não tem.

The believer who drinks a lot, and gets drunkO crente que bebe muito, e chega se embriagar
Can be sure that they won't enter heaven.Pode ter uma certeza que no céu não vai entrar
Because the gate there is narrow and they can't pass through.Pois a porta lá é estreita e não da para passar.
Because being full of alcohol makes it easier to burn.Pois está cheio de álcool é mais fácil de queimar

The youth nowadays is losing their fearA mocidade hoje em dia está perdendo o temor
Cutting their hair, saddening the Lord.Cortando os seus cabelos entristecendo o Senhor
It's like the locomotive with rust in the injectorÉ igual à locomotiva com ferrugem no injetor
That hardly moves and only releases steam.Que não anda quase nada e só faz soltar vapor.

The believer who claims to preach and work.A crente que diz que prega, e que sabe trabalhar.
It's easier to do nothing, they only know how to talk.Mais fácil é não fazer nada, sabe mesmo é prosar,
It's a train with a loose wheel that needs fixing.É um trem com a roda solta, que precisa concertar,
Because in dangerous curves, it might derail.Pois nas curvas perigosas pode até descarrilar.
