Sat inside an empty house
All the lights off, the coffees long gone cold
Can someone come and take me away?

Collecting dust like books up on my shelf

So here I am feeling sorry for myself
Writing to make sense of everything I felt
And dealing with the hand I'm dealt

So why do I pretend to like a life that I despise?

I put my life on hold for nothing
Broke the rules in search of anything
