One Crash

One crash and I'm a dead man. Funny how it's the
smallest things that make me think I destroyed the
best I had.
Now I'm waiting for my strength to call me back.

Got caught. Shot the neighbor. Some say I did her a
favor. Yesterday I swore that it was you. Who could
come and take away the sting of truth.

Please stop taking me so high.
I look at you I wonder why.
I stay up late at night
I want to know if it's all right.
If everything I did is gonna come back to me someday.

One crash, I can't explain it. It's like makin' sense
when you're wasted. No one told me this is the way
it's supposed to be. And I'm so scared to think
someday it won't be me.
