Hemos oído hablar de una tierra en cuyos cielos azules y etéreosWe have heard of a land on whose blue, ether skies
Ni una nube puede quedarse por un momento;Not a cloud for a moment can stay;
Y no necesita que el sol en todo su esplendor se levanteAnd it needs not the sun in his splendor to rise
Porque el Señor es la luz de su día;For the Lord is the light of its day;
Hemos oído hablar de esa tierra, y su gloria la buscamos,We have heard of that land, and its glory we seek,
Donde los fieles con Jesús habitarán,Where the faithful with Jesus shall dwell,
Donde las rosas de la juventud nunca se desvanecen de las mejillas,Where the roses of youth never fade from the cheek,
