Calling Down the Dark

Against a distant skyline
the shells collide
with cries of shrieking sirens
and prayers denied

From clouds of dust the wreckage spills into the night
The blackened offerings to ancient gods ignite

No more will fear define us
we'll rise anew
from cities burnt beneath us
a world untrue

The charred remains of antiquated company
Will give way to the cure for this decayed debris

We have been searching for so long
We finally found what was forgone
