Peace Of Mind

When i came to think about all those wasted years

Don't even understand how i lived my life?

Could i've unlocked the door sooner than i did?

It's all in history, now i'm grateful that i live

I played with fire maybe much too long

I was hunting high and hunting low

For every little thrill

Before i reached the sign that made me wanna stay

Another sign of life was handed on a tray

Big choices begin

Turn all those questions inside out

And find that missing piece

We all need a place to hide when the world is rough outside

I needed more than this normal life could give

Been known to use my fist when someone hurt my pride

When i go back in time

At least in my mind

I wonder why i fought when everyone was kind

They're all afraid of me, i hear run away feet

They gave me all i want,didn't stand in my way
