A Flicker Of Recognition

This is my beginning,
The first chapter of what i'd call a real life.
I breathe this new air,
It leaves me so inspired and the truth;
I've never felt this high before.
It might be too soon to tell this but i've had it long enough.
I've gone in every direction that i have been pulled into.
This time i'll make it alive.
I could see this coming so long and i can't go to sleep with the light on.

Life and love built the machine that leads us on.
Sometimes the light will leave us with nowhere to run.
