My Boring Life

Walk through this town
Not a smile touches this face
Been thinking about this for awhile
Thinking I should go someplace
It's so pathetically boring
Things have always been the same
My friends tell me it will get better
I don't think things will change

I want to have my own ideas
I don't need to know what you think
I want to go places in life
I don't need to agree to your ways
Now I'm wishing on a different star

My world seems to close in around me
I need something to hold onto
All I hear on the radio are the same depressing songs
Telling me I'll be fine without you
I can't help but dream about tomorrow
Nothings going on today
Sometimes I wish I could just scream in your face
But I wouldn't know what to say
