Victory Revealed At The Cross

There was a decree that stood against me
A sentence impossible to overturn
But in the silence of the lifted cross
Your love chose to intervene

What once separated me from life
Was confronted by Your light
And what had been condemnation
Lost its power before Jesus

It was not merely an act of surrender
It was the beginning of a new life
For in the death that seemed like defeat

The triumph of Your power was revealed
The cross was not the end of the story
The cross revealed redemption

What once appeared to be finished
Became a new creation

And what once seemed impossible
Began to answer to Your power
Now I walk under Your grace
Free from the weight I once carried

For the victory that sustains me
Was not born from what I did or thought
And the life that is now revealed
Is the fruit of what You accomplished there

A living testimony of Your work
Still active within me
The cross was not the end of the story

And what began at that altar
Remains eternal over all who believe
