It's a nice day for a blue suit
I'm standing in the rain
I put it on this morning
To see you once again
It wasn't necessary
You'd love me just the same
But i wanted to see you this way
The last few years were hard now

I wished the lord would take you home
I'm sad that wish came true

It's a nice day for a black suit

On my wedding day
I wish that you could be here

"how quickly they grow up!"
We're gonna throw those roses in the air
And dance the night away
We'll run out to that waiting car and quickly drive away
Into a future, one where we'll say
"how great to be alive!"
