The show has ended, yet the credits still run
散场了 字幕还在跑着
sàn chǎng le zì mù hái zài pǎo zhe
I, who remain in my seat, am reluctant to part
留在座位的我 依依不舍
liú zài zuò wèi de wǒ yī yī bù shě
This longing is just a buffer for forgetting
思念只是 遗忘的缓冲
sī niàn zhǐ shì yí wàng de huǎn chōng
The story still has other audiences

I should seize these few seconds

And weep with abandon, a rare indulgence

You were a tragedy, why didn't you say?

tiān hūn dì àn zhōng jiù zhè me huó zhe
Happiness is so hateful, don't turn on the lights yet
快乐是那么可恨 先别亮灯
kuài lè shì nà me kě hèn xiān bié liàng dēng

A pity, for you and I, a beginning but no end
可惜了你我 有始却无终
kě xī le nǐ wǒ yǒu shǐ què wú zhōng
For longing is always more fragile than farewell
因为挂念 总是比再见轻薄
yīn wèi guà niàn zǒng shì bǐ zài jiàn qīng bó
Each passerby continues to play their part
每一位过客 就继续演着
měi yī wèi guò kè jiù jì xù yǎn zhe
Waiting for someone, to come in, and sit
等谁 进来 坐着
děng shéi jìn lái zuò zhe

And again I wonder, will there be a sequel?
又猜测 有没有续集呢
yòu cāi cè yǒu méi yǒu xù jí ne
The more I try to be resolute, the more I waver
越是想果断的 越容易蹉跎
yuè shì xiǎng guǒ duàn de yuè róng yì cuō tuó
The future always seeks its solace in the past
未来总往 过去找解脱
wèi lái zǒng wǎng guò qù zhǎo jiě tuō
Why then must people defy fate, and make a promise
那人们何必不信邪 承诺
nà rén men hé bì bù xìn xié chéng nuò

Why, when I long for you, am I no longer myself
为何一想念 我就不像我
wèi hé yī xiǎng niàn wǒ jiù bù xiàng wǒ

In this world of darkness and gloom, I ponder every perhaps
天昏地暗中 想任何或者
tiān hūn dì àn zhōng xiǎng rèn hé huò zhě
None are a good possibility, don't spoil it yet
都不算好的可能 先别剧透
dōu bù suàn hǎo de kě néng xiān bié jù tòu

And I have accepted it, a beginning but no end
也已经接受 有始却无终
yě yǐ jīng jiē shòu yǒu shǐ què wú zhōng
For resentment is far more clean-cut than regret
因为怨怼 远比有遗憾利落
yīn wèi yuàn duì yuǎn bǐ yǒu yí hàn lì luò
All the passengers, upon arrival, please alight
所有的乘客 到了请下车
suǒ yǒu de chéng kè dào le qǐng xià chē
Don't let, the moth, fly into the flame
别让 飞蛾 扑火
bié ràng fēi é pū huǒ

Like me, with not a glimmer of light
像我 一点光亮 都没有
