I try to make some sense of something that does
not exist I'm always trying to make ends meet well
somehow I just miss It's not halfway here that we're
trying for you know it's over when you see me shut
the door that's not the way, that's the way it has to
be it's not the way it's just that you're too blind to
see and all the times I'd like to turn and walk away
I can't you just mean too much to me and all those
times you make me feel like giving up you come to
me I'm not your problem-solver in a cup and you're
not seeing what I'm saying and you're not making
sense to me (to me) so I'm holding on I'm holding
on to you and me don't throw away what we have
worked so hard to be and all those times i said fuck
you don't mean a thing well just remember what i say
