Way The Things Are Going

You say I shouldn’t be drinking all night long

But the way the things are going, I guess you should be knowing
That’s the only way I found to carry on

The governor says that we should stay at home
And the preacher now will have to pray alone
Till the rich is buying fancy cars, The poor is jus trying to stay alive
It seems I have to learn again how to live my life
