Wer im Schutz des Höchsten wohntWhoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Wird ruhen im Schatten des AllmächtigenWill rest in the shadow of the Almighty
Ich sage zum Herrn: Er ist meine Zuflucht und meine FestungI will say of the Lord: He is my refuge and my Fortress
Mein Gott, auf den ich vertraueMy God in whom I trust

Ich werde ihn anrufenI will call on Him
Er wird mich antwortenHe will answer me
Mein Beschützer, Retter, Liebhaber meiner SeeleMy Protector, Saviour, Lover of my soul
Ich werde meine Hände erheben, werde seinen Geboten gehorchenI will lift my hands, will obey His commands
