Good News

There is no one righteous, no not one
All have sinned, all have turned from God
But while in sin Christ died for us
Proving the Father both loving and just

O the wages of sin is death
And under its weight we have no rest
But the gift of grace is life
It's free for all who trust in Christ

This is the good news
No condemnation
His blood our salvation
By faith we receive the good news
In His righteousness we stand
Reconciled to Him
This is the good news

We are no longer slaves to sin
We die to the old, He makes us new again
Once called enemies, now called sons
The Spirit of God is living within us
