Scrolling through a perfect screen
Flawless smiles, a movie scene
I paint my face just like they do
But somehow I still don't feel true

I change my voice, I change my clothes
Try to fit into what they chose
But every time I play their part
I lose a piece of who I am inside my heart

I see their lives, and I compare
Now I hate the way I wear my hair

This endless race I'll never win
I'm drowning in their filtered skies
Caught in the web of mirror lies

They got gold where I got cracks
They get love, I get attacks

It never feels like I can rest

I hear their laughs, I see their fame
Why can't I just feel the same?
My worth is wrapped in pixel strings
Tied to likes and follows, fleeting things
