Bleeding Inside

It's a storm outside I watch the falling rain
I'm bleeding inside and I could never be the same
I remember her tears she was so afraid
Oh so much pain, I can't cry enough

I held her head and she looked at me and said
Please remember me as the one I use to be
And I cried out loud as she closed her eyes
One last time and she faded away

Memories from the past seems so far away
They've drown in tears
Now she's gone and I'm so alone
I can't find another reason to go on

Why did she die and why didn't I?
