When we were young we’d surf for fun
All day beneath the fading Sun
And sand got in our In n' Out
But we didn’t know or care about it

And it’s funny how I’ve tried to be like someone else
But in the end I realize I’m just myself

I tried so hard to surf like God
Along with all the other jocks
I did alright till I hit the rocks
Now sand forever in my thoughts
