Dying Inside

I see the pain dwelling in your eyes; because it hurts so much when you realise that nothing lasts forever, but take pride in knowing that you tried.
I wish I could tell you otherwise, but it would just be another lie. Try not to feel let down because these wounds will heal in time.
Sometimes the only thing you can trust is the fact that there's no one you can trust, and the truth is never wrong, even when it leaves you bled and bust.
As they say "life goes on" and in time you'll learn to walk away, don't let them leave you hollow and dying inside
