It's cold in this house
And all the lights are out
I've been hold up here to long
To make it three weeks now
There's a pain in my chest
When I fell worse than this
And since your heart turned to stone
You feel less and less

So where's my keys where's my coat
I just heard it ring but I can't find my phone
Do I really need the thing when I call no one
And out on the avenue, bars are packed first with youth
Boys done got dolled up
And the girls did too

Can't find the strength to hold myself upright
If I never learn to be alone it's cause I never tried

Now unexpected rain
I'm too far uptown
I can't find the train
So I'm hoping to leave the worst behind
Uptown hitting down on a one tonight
And drag this bag of broken bones
