My Dreams

I got everything I wanted
So why am I still sad
Worked so hard and now I've done it
But the moment came and passed
I thought that everything would change if I got it all
But I'm still the same

I think I like the idea of my dreams
Better than reality
I think it's better living life aspiring
Than any of it happening
The grass is always greener on the other side
So I'd rather stay right here and live a humble life
It's only ever perfect, so it seems
In the idea of my dreams

It's not that I'm not grateful
But everything has pros and cons
If I'm really so successful
Then why do I feel so lost

Thought that everything would change if I got it all
But I'm still the same
