Nothing Show

When nothing would show and sadness remained.
I stood in the snow and watched how everything connects to one another.
Everything, shows.

And what do we know about what we've earned.
Will all the love we've spent return to us.
Or will we sour one another in a rush to feel right.

I felt so alone out lost in the rain.
I came to your door so I could say all these sentimental feelings.
Everything, feels right.

And there in the night we said we would change.
We wouldn't rely on all that pain, that came before.

I felt so unsure then I saw you.
And I felt something bold and true.
We won't hide from one another.
Now I know we are right.

Take it or leave it our hearts should be enough now.
