But the lines are barely showing on your face
The cold bit into your liquid eyes
Like it let you see through my disguise
The feeling dwindles in defeat
The teardrop dries out in defeat

The shrubs suck the carbon from my mouth
And death hangs around this broken street
My good intentions are kept
A purely abstract concept
The woodland dwindles in defeat
