so i'm dreaming in the mirror
trying to stare my spirit clean
as the world comes in from hollywood,
red, blue, and green.

catch sight of myself in the color
as a memory catches a wave.
and it splashes down in front of me
all in chroma key.

there was sunlight in my eyesight
when the words began to fade
so i shifted into satellite
and i pulled the shade

got caught up in a radio current
and my energy locked on the beam
when i hit the ground i was two feet down
