who had a sponge,der hatte einen Schwamm,
the sponge was too wet for himder Schwamm war ihm zu nass
so he went to the street,da ging er auf die Gass´,
the street was too cold for him,die Gass' war ihm zu kalt,
so he went into the forest,da ging er in den Wald,
the forest was too green for him,der Wald war ihm zu grün,
so he went to Berlin,da ging er nach Berlin,
Berlin was too small for him,Berlin war ihm zu klein,
so he went back home,da ging er wieder heim,
home was too nice for him,daheim war's ihm zu nett,
so he got into bed,da stieg er in das Bett,
there was a mouse in the bed,im Bett war eine Maus,
so he jumped out again-da sprang er wieder raus-
and you're out!und du bist drauß´!
