Something went crooked in my mind
It stays crooked as I write
From where I stand the world looks off
Somethings sit and sour with the time
Wasting away without a guide
Here where I stand it all seems off
Moment to moment the second hand is slowing
The rest came into frame and all was clear
Pang and flash of my conscience
And the past I keep passing in hopes
That it’ll dim with the day
And fall back into night
The harder I try, the less I’ve done
Kept on dreaming, keep dreaming my love
And due to circumstance we’re running on fumes
It’s our lives on a whole just lived
