Of victims and villains
shadows crawl and conspire
lurid, she lie there
an adornment of the third kind

with emerald beneath closed eyes
and a malevolent smile
staked ever so slightly
by two fangs from above
awaiting to wake in alliance with the moon's rise

this night to unfold like a whorer film
between the first and final reflections of life
ready, with a prevalent mind
this countess encounters
to coyly call upon those undivine.

Bound to her majesty through tragedy
so close to being realized
