I was 11 years old in sixth grade,Yo tenia 11 años cursaba sexto,
and my life was just books and stories.y en mi vida solo eran libros y cuentos
I still remember in the schoolyard,y aun recuerdo en el patio del colegio
a pretty girl with dark eyes;a una linda muchachita de ojos negros;
seeing her suddenly amazed me,al verla de repente me asombro
when her lips landed on mine,que sobre mis labios su boca poso,
that sweet and tender attempt out of nowhereese dulce y tierno intento a destiempo
was like a little light of colorsfue como una lucesita de colores
that started to awaken my feelings.que empezo a despertarme los amores.

after that, it’s rained so muchdespues de eso ha llovido tanto
