Everybody wants a reason for everything.

It's so much easier with someone or something to blame.

Siempre he luchado en la raíz del problema
I've always struggled at the root of the problem.

Nunca he gastado mucho en encontrar un remedio
I've never spent a lot on finding a remedy.
Supongo que pensé que dolía por una razón
I guess i figured that it hurt for a reason.
Supongo que por eso siempre he recurrido a escribirlo
I guess that's why i've always turned to writing it down.
No solo en historias, sino en letras intermedias
Not just in stories, but the letters in between.
Y supongo que por eso acecha las páginas de todo
And i guess that's why it haunts the pages of everything-

To self-examine.

Creo que la cosa es que me apagué de todo
I think the thing is that i shut off from everything.
De amigos y familiares y de mis propias ambiciones
From friends and family and my own ambitions.

From having fun.

Self-defeating? yeah, probably.
Pero no sé si tenía control total sobre él
But i don't know that i had total control over it.
Y no estoy seguro de que importe por qué
And i'm not sure it even matters why.

A veces suceden cosas y no se puede hacer nada
Sometimes things happen and you can't do anything.
Además, soy el único que se ocupa de ello de todos modos
Plus, i'm the only one who deals with it anyway.

I'm not, i…i promise. i just know i did this to me.
Y me ocuparé de ello en consecuencia
And i will deal with it accordingly.

Y no necesito opiniones de aquellos que nunca forman parte de ella
And i don't need opinions from those never a part of it.
No necesito que señalen mis problemas, son míos
Don't need them pointing out my problems, they're mine.
No necesito recordatorios, lo sé mejor que nadie
Don't need reminders, i know better than anyone.

Y sí, lo sé, debería estar encontrando otra manera
And yeah, i know, i should be finding another way.

I know that i should be out seeking a substitute.
Pero olvidar nunca tenía sentido para mí
But just forgetting never really made sense to me.
