Until The End

For many years obsession was, a solidarity at stake
A nuisance to aggression and bad traits
The collective strife was no real issue
Blinding red, mistaken for rose-tinted happiness
As the view slowly fades
From a vivid bright to dull silence
Portrays, pictures of memories and not quite there yet ignorance
Like making a change without some selfish drive
The clock ticks by
The hands of it both lit up in bright lights
All the years fly by so fast
Faster than my brain can take
But what I've done so far can barely compensate
For what I do or don't perceive as a point to our existence
