Heart of Fire

She walked backwards out of the water
Her hair blew like flames
On the back of the devil's daughter
And she sang

Let the wind come, my heart's like the Sun
It's made of fire
Let the wind come, my heart's like the Sun
It's made of fire

The blackbirds in the moonlit garden
Sang of their pain
A thousand wings of their souls' longing
Fanned the flames

Let the wind come, my heart's like the Sun
It's made of fire
Let the wind come, my heart's like the Sun
It's made of fire

The wind danced slowly, around in circles
And dried all her tears
He gently sang the Sun King song
And asked her what she'd always feared
Do you ever wonder if the Sun is lonely?
It's time to go to sleep

Let the night come, my heart's like the Sun
It's made of fire
