Jubelt

Exsultate

Es gibt ein Licht auf den BergenThere's a light upon the mountains
Und der Tag bricht anAnd the day is at the spring
Wenn unsere Augen das Wunder sehenWhen our eyes shall see the wonder
Und die Herrlichkeit, die es bringen wirdAnd the glory it will bring

Et laudate domino in laetitiaEt laudate domino in laetitia
Et cantate domino gloriaEt cantate domino gloria
Saecula et saeculorum alleluiaSaecula et saeculorum alleluia

Hört, wir hören eine ferne MusikHark, we hear a distant music
Und sie kommt mit vollem KlangAnd it comes with fuller swell
Es ist das glorreiche Lied des HimmelsTis the glorious song of heaven
Und unsere Ängste wird es vertreibenAnd our fears it will dispel

Jubelt dem Herrn, alle Völker, alleluiaExsultate domino omnis populi alleluia
Jubelt dem Herrn, alle Länder, alleluiaJubilate domino omnis terra alleluia

Engel und Erzengel, singt und lobtAngeli et archangeli, psallite et laudate
In Hymnen und Psalmen und LiedernIn hymnis et psalmis et canticis

Wir hören eine ferne MusikWe hear a distant music
Sie kommt mit vollem KlangIt comes with fuller swell
Denn die Engel hier sind menschlichFor the angels here are human
Nicht die strahlenden Heerscharen obenNot the shining hosts above
Denn die Trommelschläge der ArmeeFor the drumbeats of the army
Sind die Herzschläge unserer LiebeAre the heartbeats of our love
