Small Towns
Life.Labour.Lost
Many places where I have been
Too much these eyes have seen
Big cities, small towns
Humanity got lost and never found
On the verge of destruction
Unaware we prance
And I feel that I'm the only one
Who's still able to care
Condoning greed, our greatest disease
Don't try to cure the dead
Even if hopes marching in
Money's always ten steps ahead
Many places where I have been
Too much these eyes have seen
Big cities, small towns
Humanity got lost and never found
If the world is going to end
We should set our stories straight
And the earth will turn again
When our last tracks fade
All my will is us to change
Before we'll be an ancient race
All my will is us to persist
Before our futures cease to exist
On the verge of destruction
Unaware we prance
And I feel that I'm the only one
Who's still able to care
Condoning lies, our greatest vice
Don't try to cure the dead
Even if hope's marching in
Money's always ten steps ahead
If the world is going to end
We should set our stories straight
And the earth will turn again
When our last tracks fade
