The car was packed and we were ready to go
The possibilities endless as the open road
The drive was long and pushed into the night
It didn't seem so bad cause everything was perfectly alright

A thousand miles from home
Our minds were even further
Car window shattered
It didn't even matter at all, matter at all

Blue skies stretched into endless sea
Everyday we rolled through lights so green
Our humble basement suite in disarray
The car towed away because we didn't pay

I woke up at 6am excited
When it finally started the crowd ignited
The final night we spent sitting in the park
We sat there reminiscing long past dark
