Death Blooms

Lost in a rose garden filled with thorns
It's been me against the world since the day I was born

Words of war on the winds of the west
I try to find the beauty in a world of unrest
Pull the trigger at the cost of a life, or watch the world burn out of spite
When the end is nigh, will you turn and run, or stand and fight
Let's not pretend
We'll all beg for mercy in the bitter end

Hatred flows through our veins, we never seem to learn from our mistakes
We fight amongst each other, sink the knife in the back of our brothers
As the guns roar, the bombs fall, and it leads us to our rapture
As the flames roar, the ash falls and the earth begins to fracture
