Sunflowers

You’re the virus my body
That I wanted to beat
Maybe I asked for too much
When you just needed to breathe

But I allowed myself to cry
Because the pain that I had inside
Was huge

And yes I don’t regret
Cause if you really were my friend
You’d stay

You put me a seed
Sunflowers grew over
Then you pointed me a gun
My sunflowers are away from the Sun
