And how did she arrive,Y cómo fue que ella llegó,
how did she trap me,cómo fue que me atrapó,
how did she entangle me in her world?cómo fue que me enredó en su mundo?
How did she drag me, enchant me, fill me with light?Cómo fue que me arrastró, me hechizó, de luz me llenó?

How did she sneak into my veins,Cómo se coló en mis venas,
relieved all my sorrowsalivió todas mis penas
in a matter of seconds?en cuestiones de segundos?
How did she change my daysCómo me cambió los días
and turned my agony into words?y convirtió en palabras mi agonía?

And she fueled my heartY me le hechó combustible al corazón
and my spirit turned the world around.y mi espíritu le dió la vuelta al mundo.
She filled me with pleasureMe llenó de placer

the joy of my dayla alegría de mi día
