Corinthians 13 says like this, ohCoríntios 13 diz assim, oh
Even if I spoke the language of men and angelsAinda que eu falasse a língua dos homens e dos anjos
If I didn't have love, I would be like a resounding gongSe eu não tivesse amor, serei como um sino que ressoa
Or like a clanging cymbalOu como um prato que retine

Even if I had the gift of prophecyAinda que eu tenha o dom de profecia
And knew all mysteries and all knowledgeE saiba todos os mistérios e todo conhecimento
And had faith to move mountainsE tenha fé capaz de mover montanhas
But, if I didn't have love, I would be nothingMas, se não tiver amor, nada serei

Even if I gave all I possess to the poorAinda que eu dê aos pobres tudo o que possuo
And gave my body to be burnedE entregue o meu corpo para ser queimado
But, if I didn't have love, it would profit me nothingMas, se não tiver amor, nada disso me valerá

Love is patient, love is kindO amor é paciente, o amor é bondoso
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proudNão se inveja, não se vangloria, não se orgulha
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seekingNão maltrata, não procura os seus interesses
It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongsNão se ira facilmente e não guarda rancor

Love does not delight in evilO amor não se alegra com a injustiça
But rejoices with the truthMas se alegra com a verdade
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveresTudo sofre, tudo crê, tudo espera, tudo suporta

This was the love that Christ hadEsse foi o amor que Cristo teve
