I waited too much but I stayed in touch
I couldn't stop thinking if I was doing the right thing
Now I have you, at least for today

So I sold my house, I sold my car,
I just took, my old guitar

Now I can't think by myself
She's turning me into someone else
This little girl has a lot of issues
And our conversations are so dull

She talks about diamonds, she talks about gold bars :
But her ideas can't go far : x2
She talks about houses, she talks about cars :
She just stop talking when I play (the) guitar :

She just talks about useless things
But I sold all my stuff to be with her
I started thinking about killing this girl
But a better idea is just to go

I went away to travel a little more
I've changed my mind about this girl, for sure!
This nightmare took me so long
Now I just care about my guitar and its songs
