The Adventure of the Queen Bee

Something in the gardens
keeps calling me incessantly
the rain on the leaves
inspires confidence in me
the trees sway
blessed be this wind
and behind the walls I hear something
that tells me:

-'Welcome! ! !
I knew you would come here
to this cave
I suppose you will get used
to the total silence
lower world
that is eternal
like evil itself
so there will be no light tomorrow
to regret
when dying
the desert of thirst for love
and to bloom
you will never escape from here! ! !
Oh, oh!!

Without leaving my astonishment
I begin to observe
thousands of beehives
burning in the fire
millions and millions of deaf tapirs
('Oh my God')
- but this is hell
I said to myself

- Well, I don't care
I know well
that I will get out of here
from your hive
maybe the lights
that dawn will bring peace
that color so different
from this, without a doubt
and I know I won't care
if in the light of a summer
I die biting my prey
resigning myself
leaving my sting in it

So without realizing it
I broke the riddles
and in a mad impulse
I left the cave
and heard the thunder
and ran through a thousand flowerbeds
where timid flowers
died with the rain

At that moment I understood
that explaining this to someone
would be useless!!
The lights trembled
with the fury of the wind
and the wet leaves
with pearls of dawn
saw me flee
Oh, oh! !
