Families Are a Blessing

Families are a blessing
From the good lord above
And we don't count 'em like we should
Till they're in a photo album
On a dusty shelf
And we say we wouldn't change it if we could

The devil is out there
Though
Taking them from us
And we can do nothing to stop it
'Cause he knows we're on the clock
And the clock never stops
And the minute that it does
He knows we lost it

Too many arguments
Unpaid bills
The fear of the future's never sitting still
Anxiety attacks
We can't keep track
He's taken it all
And he's never giving back

We say we love each other
And we act like we do
But we get so busy
It gets hard to see
All of these distractions
And the devil in disguise

He's given me you and you me

They say if you just believe
Then everything's all right

I hope that I'm doing that right
Because if you believe in Jesus

But right now
