Overtone of melancholy
Descried obliterated
Memories through crevices
And cracks in hoary timber roofs
Beneath the sordid passage bodies entombed
Fertilize my roots pillars consumed

Amidst lumid remnants of embers long cold
Rose from dust and ashes bled the lost city of aedis
And the vast court dimm'd below rain-gray facade
Sowed tremor thro' spectral portents in weird gust
Uncannily from grounds beaten flat by rapid hounds
Wound up, south front, twere but one horologe
No more pends unsound

Drudging are the shambled remains 'tween somber graves
Sworn a waltz of death
Necropendulum
Keepers three stir rusty gears succumbing to decay
Spewed from bowels of desolate eternities
Until rays of morrow condemned spirits
Quench hate aloft crypt of abysmal antiquities
