Shadows Beneath The Veil
My head is aglow with whispers
Quietly nagging, caressing, chastising
Shadows that flit in and out of consciousness
That await that one moment of weakness

The Shadows Converge
With whispers they are no longer

As one they become
A tide of pain, rage, despair
Roaring with ferocity of a thousand voices
As they tear a hole in my (head)

Everything ceases to exist, but that one voice, one cry
Building into a crescendo of agony

Everything dies

What am I to do?
(What am I) to feel?
How am I to address this void?

To project the pain unto you
To have my hate become your hate
To have my fear spark your fear
To have my agony become one with yours
