The Thinnest Limb

Is it okay to want something so bad,
You plan your day like you already have it?
Is it okay that I'm driving so fast,
From the fear I'll veer off too far from the path?
Is it okay? Am I still safe?

I'm scared because I'm standing here,
Upon the thinnest limb that I could climb,
Haven't once looked down for this whole time.

I can't bare to take a look in from outside,
