Ghosts Of The Night

Build a moat and sink the boat
so no-one can come ashore
everybody needs some air
a temple they can choose to share
Build a ladder for my anger
send it up onto a star
tie the sadness to the boat
that you're sinking in the moat
These are all ghosts of the night
they circle in eternal flight
do this for me and I will be
happy for the anger
listening to the sadness
company for the lonely
