What's Wrong With Killing?
Metacrose
Societies believe in sacred life
And that it’s a gift from god
In an eternal existence
Where man mercilessly destroys it
He fights for a false
Idea of superiority
Driven by thoughts distorted
Distorted by greed
Death is not the passage to another world
Or the beginning of a dream
Is it just the end?
What’s wrong with killing?
Animals kill each other
Man creates his own wars
Some say this is the natural course of life
But should we follow our instincts?
Or govern them through our own morality?
Even if killing is part of our nature
Why couldn’t our rationality control it?
The natural instinct can’t justify our practice.
Killing can even heal the pain
But it violates freedom of choice
And in that last moment
Killing is a landmark
Between being and perish
Look at yourself
Confront your own rules
Tame your desires
Restrict your anxiety, your ego
And recreate the notion of right
What’s wrong with killing?
